Photographs

--

Women have taken many roles while on archaeology expeditions. In these photos you can see them digging, surveying, cooking, overseeing, cataloging, painting animations, and finding history. These photos represent women from several decades with varying levels of education and knowledge... but all of them did the work.

These photographs are generally ordered chronologically (the earliest photos at the top; the most recent photos near the bottom).
